It is a well-established fact that climate change affects individuals and communities differently based on intersecting factors such as race, gender, socioeconomic positioning, geography, and more, and the urgency of climate justice calls for bold and inclusive action.
At Palakiya, we work hand in hand with communities in South Asia particularly India, to tackle systemic inequities, uplift vulnerable groups, and champion a future where both people and the planet can thrive. Guided by our three core pillars—Climate Justice, Food Sovereignty, and Climate Literacy—we design and implement programmes that place power in the hands of communities. Our campaigns are building blocks for a world rooted in dignity, security, and equal opportunity for all.
